Help & Faqs
The best way to install Mystic and figure out how it works is to open the INSTALL file included with the download. It will tell you everything about how to get it up and running... and how to use it! Also, check out the README file, it has some good info in it as well. If you need any help, check out our forum, or ask us!
This all depends on how you are implementing rails on your system. Typically, mystic runs great with mongrel & webrick. You can also run it using fastcgi, but we recommend a rails-based HTTP server to handle all of the load. Using mongrel and webrick, we've seen stable performance up to about 5000 users, with about 10000 tickets and 5 posts per ticket. It will probably function just fine at multiples of this, we just haven't tested higher than these numbers just yet.
DevelopmentDo you like Mystic, but you think it's missing a little something? We're open to suggestions! In our Development center, you can monitor the progress of the next release of Mystic, recommend new features, report bugs, and you can even download any release of Mystic if you want to work on your own version. |
